CHA 2011 Winter Conference Trade Show

Come and join me in my workshop at the CRAFT & HOBBY ASSOCIATION on Friday, January 28, 2011, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

We will be experimenting with Tri-Art Acrylics & Shiva Artist’s Paintstiks Oil Paints to achieve effects not obtainable with entry level or bargain priced materials. Participants will create a figure portrait on a 10" x 10" maple panel, transferring the figure template with Richeson Transfer Paper & graphite art pencils. Mixed media elements will be applied to create a unique piece.

I will also be co-teaching a workshop at the CRAFT & HOBBY ASSOCIATION with Rhéni Tauchid, author of The New Acrylics books, on Friday, Januaury 28, 2011 at 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM.

We will be producing some awesome relief textures using just paint and kitchen tools! Use Tri-Art Liquid Acrylics and Mediums to produce a series of simple textures that can turn everyday objects into works of art.
